If a list of sacrifices are to be made, the list would be long.
Starting business right after completing studies, sacrificed few years of enjoyment generally associated with youth, like partying , travelling, exploring, indulging in hobbies, taking life a bit easy etc. Thought there will always be time later
Standing in sun, riding a two wheeler in extreme summers when temperatures were 45 degrees centigrade, when back got stiff and headaches were common. Thought that someone has to make a sacrifice.
Working for long hours and late hours developed a thought that eldermost son in the family has to sacrifice for the sake of younger ones.
Couldn’t spend more time with family – maybe some sacrifice is required in beginning of career. Thought that maybe there will be time for that later.
couldn’t spend time with parents- thought that spend time in work, be successful, they will be happy. Thought that there will be time for that later.
sacrificed health for work thinking that there always be time later.
The time “later” never came. The things “postponed”, never happened. Maybe things postponed never happen.
On an afterthought -no one needs a sacrifice. Maybe there was no sacrifice. It was the requirement of the day. Every so- called sacrifice is actually a building block of life which enriches your knowledge, your wisdom, your experience, your mental toughness, your emotional toughness.
So if a situation arises when you think you are making a sacrifice, hold on. You may be lucky. Destiny has something in store for you later. This may be just a preparation.
