Rapid growth of development bothers me.

What bothers you and why?

Authority without accountability is what bothers me.

Infrastructure -It is raining heavily in North India. There is plenty of water everywhere. Roads get blocked, drains overflow, road conditions detoriate, electricity faults increase . Year after year this is repeating. Why can’t relevant government departments find a solution to this. Why everytime cost is incurred to put things back in order. This state of affairs bother me

Drinking water -For many months there is a drinking water availability problem in many parts of country. We know this since decades. Why can’t we think of a solution to store water when it rains . Data says that there is more rainfall + snowfall than the requirement but most of this runs off. Storage capacity is less. Ground water levels are going down. The quality of ground water is detoriating. In ancient days every house and every village stored water for the entire year. With advancement in technology, why we cannot think of something bothers me.

Business-in businesses, boundaries are collapsing and world is becoming one. Anything happening in one part of world affects business in another part. One one side there is excitement on the oppurtunities due to this while on another side,the uncertainity again due to this globalisation, bothers me.

Natural resources -When world fights over the natural resources and then excessively abuses them, the future bothers me. According to a data, we use natural resources in 8 months what nature replenishes in 12 months.

Family systems -The new evolving society where joint family sytem is disintegrating, families are becoming smaller, children are marrying late, they are either producing kids late or none at all, is leading to a situation where elderly people have no or very little financial and physical support, bothers me.

Education system – children are taught subjects in schools but not how to be a better, responsible human being, how to face challenges in life, how to be a mentally, emotionally strong, how to lead a healthy and happy life. This bothers me.

Pollution – we take pride in advancements in all spheres but neglect generation of waste and its solution. Wet household waste should not be led to a landfill. composting can be done at household and community levels. Still people are not taking up the responsibility of safe disposal of their waste generation, bothers me.

Poor Governance – Roads are broken for laying cables then patched then again dug up for sewage pipeline , patched up again, then again dug up for laying water pipelines. Finally everything is so messed up that roads are not fit for driving and sewage lines overflow. Senior, qualilified beaurocrats plan and execute this work. They have full authority but no accountability. This bothers me

common citizen -. In a democracy a common man has the power of vote. But after casting his vote, he remains helpless watching money being squandered and shabby work done. He can protest, write articles, shout on social media but nothing matters and this bothers me.
