What is your career plan?
35 years on , career plan still remains a plan.
On completing education, the plan was to take on and conquer the world.
As practical realities sunk in, plans changed to taking firm steps and keep on completing small goals.
As challenges increased, the plan shifted to maintain the status quo for a while, lie low and proceed cautiously.
As children grow, plans changed to lessen risks and accommodate their responsibilities.
Corona happened and career plan shifted gear on survival mode. Survive till the tide passes.
35 years into the game , now when retirement looms into the horizon, the plan is to save and accumulate for retirement years.
A sense of unfulfilled desires remain, there is a wish to rewind life and start somewhere again.
What if there is no plan. Just jump into the fishbowl with a passion and let miracles happen. Probably it happens in sports or music. I am not sure but will such passion work in our jobs too?
