A memorable vacation

Describe your most memorable vacation.

There have been innumerable vacations so far

Some lasting 2-3 days while some lasting for weeks

Some were in  wild life sanctuaries  while some were on hills or seaside

Some were adventure- hiking types while some were luxury- chilling types

Some were visits to historical sites while some were exploration of cities or towns or countryside

Some were driving holidays while some were for food , reading and relaxing

Some were with family members , some were with friends while some were solo

Some had minimalistic budget while some had lavish expenditure

Which of them was most memorable ?

In some vacations, as they ended, mood was sad, mind was little stressed on to the thought of going back to work again, while in some vacations mind was rejuvenated and was roaring back to work with a resolution of coming back again.

If I look back and try to remember some memorable ones, one by one different vacations come to mind and all for different reasons. Some for adventure, some for history, some for food, some for place of stay, some for food and some for the company.

If there is some purpose in going for a vacation and if that purpose is fulfilled, vacation becomes memorable. Sometimes a simple drive in rain becomes more memorable than taking an exotic vacation.

I think, it is the frame of mind that makes a vacation memorable. If vacations are a source of escape from reality then you actually feel little tired on coming back. If you have earned a vacation by putting hard work and now want a rejuvenating break, you feel fresh and motivated on coming back.

Maybe with right frame of mind, every moment of life becomes memorable.
