There are two types of books that have captivated me since childhood. Enid Blyton- Famous five series used to be one such series. Every story made me a part of it. As the story used to unfold, i could smell the aroma of bakery items as the preparations of picnic happened. The excitement of travelling in a caravan, participating in adventures and then living in the dream of the story for weeks after having read it, made childhood quite fulfilling.
later on there were some books where every time i reread it, something new came up. One such book is ” The Laws of Success ” by Napolean Hill. Now having read it a few times, I open it randomly on any page and start reading and suddenly a new thought crops up. I then close the book, ponder and then read again and so on.
If you can relate a book with your thoughts and let the author guide your mind, it keeps on adding new layers to your emotions as you read and reread.
