Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Daily writing prompt
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I will be 68 years of age in next 10 years. I am not sure what destiny will hold for me but surely i will be trying to make myself relevent to family and society besides indulging in all the dreams and scenarios that i have imagined for a retired life.

scenario 1 – I will have a nice 4 wheel drive SUV and i would drive without any destination in mind. I would drive 8 hrs a day, find out a place to stay, walk around, see places of interest, understand local business, cusine, culture, history, environmentalIy friendly sustainable practises. will use camera a lot and everything will be penned down in memoirs and shares in blogs. Maybe i will carry my sketch book too. This will continue till i feel the need to take a break and thats when i will come back home. Again when there is nomadic calling, I will start journey.

scenario 2– All my experiences as entrepreneur could be utilised in teaching and training. Maybe I will seek out oppurtunity in this.

scenario 3– Maybe i will perfect a recipe ( aka Colonel Sanders of KFC) and then start a cloud kitchen or maybe a foodcart. Food cart at a hill station selling Maggi, bun-butter, tea, omlettes is not a bad idea either. The attraction would be staying in the hills.

scenario 4 – I may work online and hustle a side income.

scenario 5– maybe i will spend time with family and friends, exercise, read, write relax

scenario 6 – maybe i will have a farmland where i will grow organic vegetables, fruits, maybe mushrooms.

scenario 7 – maybe i will join a community engaging in social work, teaching sustainable practises.

Then there are scenarios 8 and 9 and 10 and 11 and many more which are being added everyday.

Life is all about endless possibilities. Continue exploring and you will find your bearing. Cheers !
